Want to downgrade your iOS for your apple devices?

Recently apple release iOS 5 for developer and majority of them were recommend users to remain iOS 4.3.3. iOS 5 still way of too buggy and lag to use. So, Here are tips and steps for user who want to downgrade their iOS to previos version.

Note: we believed you are in situation that your device had installed iOS 5 and using iTunes 10.5.

First, go to http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ to download suitable firmware for your device. Also, go to http://www.filehippo.com and search iTunes 10.3 to download.

Now uninstall the iTunes 10.5 and restart your pc. Then installed the iTunes that just downloaded. Windows may prompt an error states "iTunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing". If this happen then try to uninstall QuickTime in your pc. After that install iTunes again.

Here we need your device to be in DFU mode.
Read all 3 steps first before do it.

1) Connect your device to your pc and iTunes was opened. Shut off the device.

2) Hold home And power button together for exactly 10 second.

3) Release power button while holding the home button ( dont release the home button )For 5 sec.

Now, you should see a plain black in the screen of the device. And iTunes should able to detect your device. Go to iTunes -> iPad / iPhone / iPod, you will notice a restore button, hold shift / cmd for mac and mouse click 'restore'. This will open a browse window. Find the firmware that had downloaded, remember?

The rest left it for iTunes. The device will then downgrade in couple of minutes.

Be patience and wait for the official release of iOS 5. I personally believe that iOS 5 will come out with iPhone 5!

My iPad2 already one month

This is my own review about iPad2.

Rating:4.2/5

My dissatisfactory to iPad is the small storage: 16gb 32gb 64gb. Other than tat, the publicity also make some inconvenience for me.

Other than that, the weight also quite heavy for me, although I know the reason for that is enhanced the design and rigidity of iPad.

However the performance of iPad was extraordinary and amazing. Speedy, high resolution, tons of apps, user friendly, great graphics and interesting interface.

Steve jobs said iPad will probably own the market of netbook and it's true. But it still have long way to go if want to beat laptops and pcs.

Recommendation: iPad suitable for entertainers, travelers, designers, bloggers, standard students and writters. Not for programmers, architectures.

Note: jailbreak for iPad2 haven't release for user. Have couple of weeks more to wait.

Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows

Quote: "I'm using Windows for 8 years, 6 years Windows XP and 2 years Windows 7.But Here I'm not to insult any side or anyone. If anybody have better point can leave comments and I'll read it."

I'm totally impressed by Mas OS X when I first look into it. The first impression was the multitasking - dozen applications..no, even hundreds of them opened without hang or lag. Windows' users will easily notice that they can't open too much applications or else Windows will auto memory free for users - close applications for you!

"Multi"tasking means a lot, compared both of them : Mac OS X handle 100+ applications smoothly and Windows only harshly managed 10+, and obviously you can now judge which actually doing the Multitasking.

Most important is Mac OS X is viruses - invulnerable. Unbelievable! An Operating system which won't infect by viruses. As a Windows user, I experienced the way of format, recover, backup and finally reinstalled Windows with uncountable times just by one cause..viruses.

The Mac OS X background has kind of little Linux-Ubuntu's feels.
But then Apple make things called 3-D applications switcher and Preview which Ubuntu don't have. 3-D applications did give me a great new way to switch application instead of pressing ALT-TAB. Flicking the touch-pad and switches programs in 3-D view. Windows have the same 3-D switching too, but then I finally find out how badly Windows work. Too much ideas similarities between Windows 7 (the improved Windows from Vista) and Mac OS X.

Really too much, and makes me feel that is not coincidence.

Mac OS X - Gadgets       Windows - Widgets
Mac OS X - spotlight     Windows - instant search.
Mac OS X - Safari RSS    Windows - IE7 RSS.
Mac OS X - mail          Windows - Windows Mail.
Mac OS X - ical          Windows - Windows calender.

-Photo organization which enable adjust size of icon.

Apple spent millions for R&D every year, updated Mac OS X version by version and finally have the product called Mac OS X Tiger. While Windows just suddenly pop-out worst version of Windows - Vista and used short period of time to release another version called Window 7.

But then Windows maintained old-fashion like .dll files, window registry, star-up menu, disk defragment and task manager. For me, Windows 7 itself too heavily using RAM memory and 3-D graphics, huge number of viruses and malware which can totally crash Windows even in the protection of anti-viruses. But Windows managed heavy software slightly better than Mac OS X.

Windows 7 Ultimate version : RM 999
Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard : RM 109

Microsoft office Professional 2010 : RM 999
Apple Mac iWork : RM 299

( Currently latest version and prices )

Unlike Windows, majority of people can't experience the Mac OS X with their own favorite devices unless they buy a Macbook.
